The DAV School of Business Management here organised an international webinar based on contemporary theme “Impact of Covid-19 on Indian Economy” on July 24 (Friday) with an objective to empower the students’ community.
IMFA Vice President and Head – Corporate Affairs and Legal Ashok Kumar Behera graced the event as the chief guest while eminent academician from Britisb University of Egypt, Cairo, Dr Zeinab Nawar attended as the guest of honour.
Behera cited real-time examples of life and livelihood interconnected for the development of an economy. He told about various initiatives and measures taken up by State and Central Governments to tackle the Covid 19 pandemic. He also deliberated about the manufacturing as well as agricultural sector.
Dr Nawar talked about effect of the pandemic, India’s GDP growth, challenges and issues faced by the Governments of India and Egypt and the trust factor between the two countries. She also educated the audience as to how this pandemic has opened new ways of thinking and tackling the situation. She spoke about different solutions and strategies to cope with the present scenario.
