The Corporation Bank opened its first branch here on Wednesday. Inaugurating the branch, bank CMD SR Bansal said it is the bank’s 35th branch in the State. Customers would be provided with e-pass books and they can see their account status online.
The Puri branch located alongside Badadanda would have a cash deposit machine, an ATM and a passbook update machine besides a coin vending unit, Bansal informed.
He further informed that 25 new branches would be opened in Odisha very soon. Among others, General Manager of the bank’s Bhubaneswar Circle KB Shivkumar and Zonal Head Sudershan Sethi were present.
