The AICTE ATAL Faculty Development Programme on “Effective Team Work” scheduled from July 26 to 30 was inaugurated at the School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Management (SHSSM) of IIT Bhubaneswar on Monday.
Corporate Vice President, and Managing Director of Cadence Design Systems India Jaswinder S Ahuja graced the event as the chief guest for the occassion. Among others, Prof Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE an Dr Mamta Rani Agarwal, Adviser-I, ATAL Academy attended as guests.
"Through our very effective continuing education programme, the IIT Bhubaneswar has always been leading the path in providing continuing education opportunities to engineers from in duty and very importantly the teachers. We complement AICTE for the very effective ATAL FDP initiative and glad to participate in the endeavour," said Director IIT BhubaneswarProf RV Raja Kumar.
Under the active guidance of the Director and ample support from Prof Swarup Kumar Mohapatra, Dean, Continuing Education and Head, SHSSM, the programme is being coordinated by Dr Punyashree Panda from SHSSM. Approximately 200 faculty participants from AICTE recognised institutions from all over India have registered in the week-long event.
