Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee president Bijayalaxmi Sahu on Thursday lodged an FIR at the Mahila police station here against Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and several others allegedly responsible for Itishree Pradhan’s murder.
The FIR was filed on the basis of Itishree’s dying declaration accusing the Chief Minister, Koraput BJD MP Jayaram Pangi, the DG of Police and the Collector and SP of Rayagada district of being responsible for her tragedy.
Even as some other accused officers are being punished in the case, the Chief Minister, the MP, the DGP and the Collector and SP should also be brought into book, Sahu said.
