The Kissan Khet Congress Committee is all set to hold a Krushak Jagaran Samavesh in the Hinjilikatu Assembly constituency, the home turf of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, on Sunday protesting the anti-farmer policies of the State and Union Governments.
PCC Kissan Khet Committee president Amiya Kumar Patnaik and district Ganjam district unit president Bhagaban Gantayat would grace the campaign, stated a Press release issued by the PCC.
The decision to hold farmers awareness campaign was taken in the extended executive body meeting of the Kissan Khet chaired by PCC president Prasad Harichandan held on June 22.
