The Congress will gherao all the block, tehsil and municipal offices across the State on Wednesday to register its protest against the ‘corrupt’ BJD Government, Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson Durga Prasad Sahoo said on Monday.
Sahoo alleged that the State Government has abysmally failed to contain the rising prices of the essential commodities including vegetables which have left the common man high and dry.
He also accused the BJD Government of indulging in massive corruption at all levels and looting of relief materials in many cyclone and flood-ravaged areas by the ruling party members while the victims are suffering. “The recent floods exposed the lack of preparedness of the State Government and the real face of the BJD workers during the relief distribution,” he said.
