A State level meeting for making the OBC people aware of their entitlements and the gross neglect of the community by the State Government would be organised on June 15 in all the district headquarters.
At a meeting held here and presided over by Pradesh Congress Committee OBC Department (PCCOBC) chairman Bishnu Charan Barik on Saturday, the speakers flayed the BJD Government’s lackadaisical attitude towards the OBC people of the State though it has got huge funds for the welfare of the OBC people from the Centre. A memorandum for the Governor in this regard would be submitted to the respective District Collectors on June 15. Among others, OBC Department senior leaders Ajaya Behera, Suravi Jena and Santosh Kumar Behera were present.
