Reiterating that Congress is corrupt and BJP is communal, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik accused them of not cooperating with his regional party for the State’s development here on Wednesday.

He said in a federal set-up, the Center should look after the development of the States by pumping in adequate funds, but the present UPA Government has been showing a step motherly attitude to Odisha and shockingly, both the BJP and the Congress have never uttered a word against it, Patnaik charged. Patnaik said that he wants to serve the people of the State till his last breath. Among others, Minister Subrat Tarai, MP Dilip Tirkey and MlA Sarada Nayak were present. Earlier, the Chief Minister laid foundation stones of a slew of
projects in the district, including proposed 500-bed NTPC medical college building, District Skill Development Centre building, Kalyan Mandap in Sundargarh and a bridge on the Brahmani at Timjore under lathikata block.
