Alleging that the BJD Government has constantly neglected the Millennium city Cuttack, the erstwhile State capital, ever since it came to power in 2000, the City Congress has called a 12-hour dawn-to-dusk bandh on Friday.
Urging the people of the city to join the bandh wholeheartedly, city Congress chief Md Moqim in a Press release on Thursday stated that his party has decided to observe the bandh to press for its 12-point charter of demands. Referring to the demands, the Congress is highly critical about the poor state of affairs of the city civic body, which is deeply mired in controversies and corruption.
