Mahakalapada Block Education Officer Satrughna Behera on Tuesday placed Hariabanka Primary School assistant teacher Rashmi Mandal under suspension in connection with
the confinement of a Class II girl student in the class room on Saturday.According to official sources, the teacher was placed under suspension after she was found guilty in the inquiry. Meanwhile, salaries of two other teachers, Manashi Sethy and Sakuntala Tudu, of the school was held up and a show-cause notice was issued to school Headmaster Jogendra Soren that why he would not be placed under suspension. He has been asked to submit the report within a week.
