The lingaraj Foundation and the Janata Nodal UP School jointly observed the 14th death anniversary of eminent communist leader of Nimapara area lingaraj Dash in the premises of the Janata Nodal School on Thursday.
The school also observed its annual day. The statues of Mohan Dash, Mahatma Gandhi, lingaraj Dash and Biju Patnaik and Saheed Memorial Pillar were garlanded in the morning.
Advocate Mrutyunjay Dash hosted the meeting at the school ground, where local MlA Samir Ranjan Dash, Block Education Officer Anil Kumar Biswal, NAC Chairman Sanatan Pradhan, communist leader Debendra Sahoo, former Nimapara Block Chairman Pradipta Khatoi, BJD NAC president Jibanananda Mohapatra, lingaraj Dash's son Santosh Dash, lingaraj Foundation secretary Gauranga Sahoo, School Headmistress Bilasini Kar, school monitoring committee president Basudev Senapati, all teachers, students and others were present.
