Sale of commercial lPG has posted a significant growth in the State during the last few months, especially after the launch of the DBTl scheme. The sale of commercial lPG calculated in terms tonnes have increased by 20 per cent since January. “We have witnessed significant growth in the sale of 19kg lPG cylinders used for commercial purpose in the last few months.
The growth in sale of commercial lPG was declined by 20 per cent a year ago. Hence, the growth has been 40 per cent on year-on-year basis,” said HP Gas Area Sales Manager PK Mohapatra while speaking to mediapersons during an awareness event. The HP Gas has set a target to seed 80% of its consumers to their bank accounts by the end of this month and 90% by March 31st under the DBTl Scheme, he added.
