Women and Child Development Minister Usha Devi on Wednesday urged all stakeholders like Government agencies, NGOs and other organisations to work for empowerment of persons with disabilities (PWDs) in the State.
“The State Government is very conscious about the issues of the PWDs. Considering the gravity of the problems of PWDs, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik this time has appointed a separate Minister for disability welfare. I urged all stakeholders to cooperate with the Government for the betterment and empowerment of PWDs,” said the Minister while speaking at a function here at Vocational Rehabilitation Centre for Handicapped.
