Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday inaugurated Wall of Water, a public art event, which is second event of water festival BlUe. He drew a series of blue waves symbolising water in a 500-foot- long public wall which was hung opposite Big Bazaar in Satyanagar here.
Patnaik expressed his happiness to be a part of the event and appreciated the efforts of the organisers to raise public consciousness through art on a plethora of issues related to water.
Patnaik also visited Bakul Foundation, an organiser of the event. As many as 50 walls were painted, vividly depicting various emerging issues including water scarcity, conservation, management and conflict while more than 500 people ranging from various age groups and backgrounds participated.
