Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday alleged that panchayat funds are being misappropriated in the State in the name of ‘Ama Gaon AmaBikash’ and the Chief Minister is shedding crocodile tears saying ‘PC must stop’.
Pradhan stated this at a joining meeting of the BJP held at Parjang in Dhenkanal district, where over a hundred of Congress and BJD leaders and workers joined the BJP.
“Farmers are still undergoing difficulties in Parjang block as they have not been able to undertake cultivation of two crops due to lack of water. The water of the Rengali left canal is not reaching farmlands. The State Government is showing lantern to Dhenkanal district in broad daylight,” Pradhan alleged.
He said panchayat money is now being used for the development of the BJD. He said Central funds coming under the Swachh Bharat yojana for construction of toilets is being embezzled in the State.
He called upon all to work together to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of making a new India.
