PNS

As many as 40 underprivileged students from SOS Children’s Village near Khandagiri, an orphanage, were taken on an air trip by an Indigo flight to Kolkata on May 24 last.

These kids perhaps would have never imagined to be enjoying a travel by air, but it was made possible by the Bhubaneswar Round Table 53, an organization of young men committed to bring changes in the lives of the weaker sections through different community services activities in collaboration with Serajuddin & Co and Indigo.

The trip was known as Fantasy Flight, organisation’s one of the best community service projects. As per the programme, the children are to undertake a tour of Kolkata. They would visit local amusement park, Kids’ Zone, a 3D movie show in a shopping mall and have meal at Mc Donald’s with an overnight stay.

In the past, the Round Table India also had taken a group of underprivileged children to Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and New Delhi.
