A joint team of the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) and Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday carried out the first sealing of an unauthorised construction in the city.
The sealing operation was carried out at an unauthorised construction over Plot No72, 72/ 523 and others in Sijua Mouza under the Khandagiri police station. The unauthorised construction was carried out by developer Basera Designs Private Limited.
Owner of the construction company Manoj Kumar Pattnaik was issued several notices by BDA to stop construction but he did not pay heed and continued the construction till date. So, BDA instructed the Enforcement Officer sealed it under the ODA Act.
