The hearing on the petition demanding a CBI probe into the Odisha chit fund scam which was to be taken up by the Supreme Court on Tuesday has been shifted to February 25. The case has been listed as item number 1 for the day, petitioner Alok Jena said.
The Economic Offences Wing of the State Crime Branch was to submit the list of 37 chit fund companies, including Astha, Rose Valley and Sharadha, which were involved in inter-State operations and dealing with funds above `200 crore, to the Supreme Court on Tuesday, sources said.
