A Chinmaya Hanumat Mahotsav would be organised by the Chinmaya Mission from December 3 to 10 at the Baliyatra ground in Cuttack, informed Mahotsav organising committee chairman Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingh Dev at a Press meet held here on Wednesday.
To begin with, a huge procession would be taken out from Tinkonia Bagicha and it would culminate at the festival venue, the Baliytra ground. The Mahotsav would be inaugurated by Swami Nirjalapananda Saraswati Maharaj. Shruti Vidya Mandir, Cuttack founder Swami Nijananda Saraswati would attend it as chief guest.
The event would witness discourses by Swami Tejomayananda Saraswati Maharaj, Swami Sadananda Saraswati Maharaj and other such spiritual leaders of eminence.
Programme for students and youths would also be part of the event to instil in the young minds these eternal values which are indispensable for character-building and success in life.
The discourses would be held in Odia, Hindi on Hanuman Chalisa and Bhagavad Geeta. Besides, a Hanuman Mahayajna would also be performed.
Among others, Chinmaya Mission Odisha head Swami Sadananda Saraswati and Mahotsav organising committee vice-chairman Dr Kishanlal Bhartiya were present at the Press meet.
