Two members of the State Child Rights Commission Rajlaxmi Das and Sandhyarani Pradhan visited the Kandhamal District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) here to meet the Class-X student, who recently gave birth to a baby in school hostel. The girl studies in a residential girls’ high school at lingada. The commission members inquired into the incident and said that they would place the matter before the Government for financial and other benefits to the child. Expressing regret, they said that such incident should not recur.
