The Utkal Chemists’ and Druggists’ Association (UCDA) on Saturday alleged that some people sitting in a dharna at lower PMG in name of the association are fake.
The association said the protestors quoted the old registration number of UCDA bearing no 5148/254, which is presently closed and renewed number allotted is 23869/83 of 2016-17.
The present president P Satyanarayana and general secretary Prasanta Kumar Jena are duly and democratically elected for the current tenure.
“We further clarify the so called people who are utilising the name of UCDA are fraud and fake. The people, who are misutilising the name of our association, will be dealt with appropriate legal action, said UCDA president Satyanaryana.
As regards the medical stores situated inside the Government hospitals, already on the action of the State Government, the Orissa High Court has already taken the stand and all of us are to abide by the law and directions of the court. Therefore anybody commenting on the status of these medical stores will be unlawful and against the order of the court, he added.
“Already we have taken all necessary legal action against the fake and fraudulent people and a FIR was filed on August 17, 2017 190 under different sections of IPC. The same case has been taken up in the Court of city Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate,” said UCDA general secretary Prasanta Kumar Jena. The UCDA requested people and other association members to be careful of these fraudsters.
