In a glaring example of police brutality and highhandedness, a cop of the Commissionerate police brutally assaulted a minor boy, who was selling tea and milk at his father’s stall in the Kesura area in Bhubaneswar.The shameful incident, which took place on June 29, was captured on CCTV camera and telecast by some TV channels. According to reports, four policemen of the Badagada police station arrived in a PCR van and questioned the boy over opening the shop after stipulated hours and violating the Covid-19 protocols. However, one of the cops abused the boy and kicked him repeatedly.
