Cartoons posters of Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan were found at several places in Sambalpur city on Thursday morning.
Pradhan has been criticised on the Mahanadi issue in the posters. Besides, the posters have blamed the Union Minister for having no concern for Odisha.
However, those who have pasted the anti-Pradhan posters are yet to be identified.
Strongly reacting to the poster campaign, BJP’s national secretary Suresh Pujari said, “Such kinds of incidents are not acceptable in a democratic country. The posters have proved that political intolerance has increased. As per norms, posters should bear the
names of the printer and publisher. But this hasn’t happened in this case. The postershave been pasted with an intention to malign the image of the Minister.”
