A businessman, Bijaya Chowdhury (54), died in a road accident in Barbil on Monday.
When the deceased, a resident of Barbil, was returning from Champua to Barbil by his TVS moped, a camper from the opposite side dashed him and he fell in a hole of the road. He was lying there unconsciously for a long time due to non-availability any help.
However, two local youths brought him to the Tisco hospital, Joda, where he was declared dead.
The condition of the road is very bad, as the completion of construction of the NH-215 getting delayed. Accidents have become a daily occurrence from Bilaipada to Bhadrasahi of Joda block under Champua Subdivision of the Keonjhar district.
