In a jolt to the State Government, wonder boy Budhia Singh's mother Sukanti Singh on Wednesday said his son would not return to the State-run Sports Hostel again.
"My son will not join the Sports Hostel again. "They have not done anything for Bhudhia during the last nine years. He has suffered a lot. Now, his future is in dark," rued Sukanti after landing at the city airport here along with his son Budhia.
However, putting all the speculations to rest, Budhia denied the charge of being kidnapped.
"Though I have not given any leave application to the Sports Hostel regarding my tour programme, no one kidnapped me. I had been to Mumbai along with my mother," said the wonder boy.
However, he said he can't say names of those who took them to Mumbai as they are not close to him.
"I participated in the promotion of 'Burn to Run' move in Mumbai," Budhia added.
The State Government has been paying for his study, food and training for last ten years after he was separated from his deceased coach Biranchi Das.
