The Vigilance police on Friday conducted raids on the office and residences of Brahmapur DFO Ashish Kumar Behera on the charge of amassing wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Several teams of the anti-graft agency conducted simultaneous raids at Behera’s office and residences at nine places following search warrants issued by Special Judge Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
The raids were conducted at the DFO’s residential flat at Mani Trivuban Apartment in Bhubaneswar, official residence, office room, house at his native place in Bhanjanagar, in-laws house at Ambapua in Brahamapur, residence and office room of Digapahandi Range Officer Paramananda Panigrahi in Brahmapur and residential house and office room of Khallikote Range Officer Dillip Kumar Martha in Brahmapur.
