PNS

A delegation of the Brahmapur Mahanagar BJP led by its president Rama Kumar Patra submitted a memorandum to the RDC southern division addressed to the Chief Minister, demanding immediate release of funds and issue of tender for installation of pipe water project from Janabali to Dakshunpur. If the assured water supply work is not executed before January 2 next, the Mahanagar BJP will be forced to intensify its agitation from January 3, Patra cautioned.

Notably, the foundation stone for the project was laid by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on October 3 last. The delegation alleged that the Chief Minister was laying foundation stones for various projects in different parts of the State only to befool public, as no financial provision was made for the projects.

The members cited the foundation stones laid by the Chief Minister for Mahanagar Mini Stadium and Sanskruti Bhavan and said the two projects were yet to take off as there was no clear financial provision for them.

Among others, who joined the delegation include youth leaders Sarat Kumar Sahu, Saroj Kumar Sahu, S Srinivas, Sanjukta Sahu, K Kuni Subudhi, K lokeswar Rao, K Mohan Rao, T Tumbanath Subudhi, Radhacharan Nayak, Sunil Choudhury, Kiran Kumar Sahu, Sanjay Kumar Das, Pintu Sahu, and Soumyaranjan Sahu.
