The Bhasa Andolan, Brahmapur would take steps with an objective to enlighten the public regarding implementation of Odia as the State’s official language, said Bhasa Andolan, Brahmapur head Dr Sagar Ranjan Tripathy at a Press meet here on Thursday. Tripathy said Odia language is adequate to facilitate for effective communication in all subjects in the State. The organisation demanded taking legal actions against those who violate the law for use of Odia as the official language. Among others, Dr Santosh Kumar Dash, Shyam Sundar Khadanga, Birupakshya Das, Dr Prana Chandra Panda and Subash Chandra Mishra of the organisation were present at the news conference.
