A minor boy was killed and another was injured when the wall of a toilet of the Tikarpada Primary School in Balangir town collapsed on Saturday when the duo was playing near it.
The deceased was identified as Atish Kharasela and the injured was identified as Sudhansu Sandh, both of Malapada in the town.
While Atish died on the spot after being buried under the wall debris, Sudhansu was admitted to the Bhima Bhoi Medical College Hospital here in a critical condition.
On being informed, the Town police reached the spot and registered a case regarding the incident, sources said. Interestingly, on the day the school was closed.
