Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik recently inaugurated the ‘Aina’, a booklet listing all welfare schemes implemented by the State Government along with their success stories.
The booklet, published by the Information and Public Relations Department, will be of immense help to the beneficiaries, according to Team Aina, who effected the publication.
Patnaik in his address advised the officials to distribute the booklet among the beneficiaries soon.
Minister I and PR Pratap Jena, Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi, Development Commissioner Asit Tripathy, Secretary Information and Public Relations Sanjay Kumar Singh and Director Lakshmidhar Mohanty were present on the occasion.
A total number of one crore copies have been published, officials said.
Team Aina said in their editorial that information and facts being significant in successful implementation of welfare schemes, the booklet was published twice in the past—in 2014 and 2016.
The publication is a successful effort aimed at reaching the fruits of the schemes to the beneficiaries, the editorial said.
