Book “Bliss of Ignorance’” by Dr Abash Parida was inaugurated along with two entrepreneurship development programmes sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, at the Sophitorium Group of Institution, Khordha on Monday. Dr Parida is an assistant professor and a columnist.
The inaugural event was graced by Harun Rashid Khan, former RBI Deputy Governor as chief guest. In his thought-provoking talk, Khan spoke on the theme of the book Bliss of Ignorance. Further, he said the book would empower the reader to fight with destructive force of misinformation. Former Vice Chancellor, FM University , Baleswar Prof Kumarbar Das was present there as chief speaker.
He said that the Bliss of Ignorance is based on topical issues which are previously misrepresented and misinterpreted. Former advisor to Election commission of India Dr Bhagwan Prakash spoke about knowledge, wisdom and entrepreneurship. Briefing on the occasion, Chairman of Sophitorium Group of Institution Dr Himansu Mohan Padhy said that both entrepreneurship and knowledge are supplementary to each other. Director Dr Pranati Mishra highlighted the relevance of information and misinformation in modern era. The event was coordinated by the senior faculty Subhasree Barik and Sangram Badjena.
