The Rajnagar police on Friday seized bodies of two juveniles, including a girl and a boy in Chinchiri-Jaudia mouth near Pentha sea beach.

While the deceased boy's family earlier had lodged a missing report at Nayapalli police station at Bhubaneswar, the deceased girl’s family had lodged a missing complaint at Rajnagar police station.

According to police sources , the deceased boy, Prasant Patra is the son of Pabitra Mohan Patra of Ostia village under Rajnagar police limit. Pabitra is working in PHED at Bhubaneswar  and staying at Nayapalli. Prasant was a student of plus two first year arts at Rajdhani College. The deceased girl Purnima Mahanty was the daughter of Nirmala Mohanty of Chandan Nagar in Pattamundai police station. The deceased girl was studying at Pattamundai Women’s College.

Prasant on last Wednesday had left his house by informing his family that he was going to attend a marriage function of his friend at Puri and did not return. Purnima also had left her house by informing her parent that she was going to attend practical examination to the college and did not return on that evening.

However, two days later, the bodies were found lying at the sea coast of Chinchiri-Jaudia mouth by the forest personnel on Friday afternoon.

It seems the deceased who were distant relatives were in love with each other and they might have been killed, said police.  Injury marks were found on the bodies . While cut marks were found on the throat of the Prasant and blood was oozing from his mouth, ear, eye and nose, Purnima’s right hand had been amputed from her shoulder.

Notably,  some youths of Rajnagar earlier had threatened Prasant to kill him and in this regard a case earlier had been lodged at the Nayapalli police station.
