leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Narasingha Mishra on Friday paid a visit to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) here and moved around its departments. He saw water leaking from roof and taps stolen inside the building.
“Following complaints of poor facility inside the hospital, I visited various parts of the building and found the complaints to be true.
I had a preliminary discussion with the CDMO, the PWD and other departments’ officials and I told them to take measures to address the shortcomings and see that the patients do not suffer,” Mishra said.
He also maintained that he would discuss the issue with the concerned higher officials in Bhubaneswar.
