On the occasion of the National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, the Orissa Voluntary Blood Donors’ and Motivators’ Association organised a Padayatra here on Tuesday.
The rally which started from the Exhibition Ground and culminated at the Jayadev Bhawan aimed to urge people to donate blood at least once in lifetime.
Bhubaneswar Central MLA Ananta Narayan Jena, association founder president Dillip Dashsharma, sportsperson Shradhanjali Samantray, Red Cross Blood Bank Director Dr Debasish Mishra, State Blood Transfusion Council Deputy Director Swarup Das and ACP Lalitendu Mohanty and many other members of different organisations took part in the event.
