The BJP Mahila Morcha’s Ganjam district unit on Saturday filed an FIR at the Bada Bazar police station here against West Bengal TMC Minister Akhil Giri on passing derogatory remarks against President of India Droupadi Murmu.
While addressing his party workers in Nandigram of West Bengal, Giri allegedly made sweeping comments on the President.
Members of the Morcha demanded immediate action against the Minister; otherwise, they would start an indefinite agitation.
