A grand ovation was accorded to newly-appointed national vice-president of BJP Krushak Morcha Rama Chandra Panda here at his New Barracks Road residence by party workers. The appointment of Jayanti Padhiari as BJP State vice-president was also hailed at the meeting.
BJP Brahmapur district president Bijay Kumar Swain and other party leaders Kahnu Charan Pati, Dharanidhar Behera, N Rajendra Kumar Jagannath Jena and many others presented bouquets to Panda. They hoped Panda’s new appointment and Padhiari’s nomination would help strengthen the party rank and file.
Panda was optimistic that the BJP would form next gGvernment both in the State and at the Centre in 2014.
Earlier, Panda was given a rousing welcome by party workers in his constituency Chhatrapur under the leadership of party State executive member Surath Pahan.
