BJP to form govt in Odisha: Himant

PNS

BJP will form government in Odisha in the coming Assembly election in next few months, said Assam Chief Minister Himant Biswa Sarma at the BJP State party office here on Saturday.

Saram said the BJP got 38 per cent votes in the Lok Sabha poll and 32 per cent votes in Assembly polls in 2019 in Odisha which means BJP is preferred by the voters in the State despite the Naveen brand.

Claiming that the BJD has managed to create hype in the State, the Assam CM said that PM Modi has undertaken a lot of development works in the last five years which will increase the BJP votes by another 4 per cent to come to power in Odisha. He emphatically said that he would have to come to Odisha once again to attend the party’s swearing-in ceremony.
