The BJP Mahila Morcha on Monday released a video on incidents of violence against women to seek replies from the State Government on those incidents. The video can be seen at https://www.facebook.com/BJP4Odisha/videos/347194635872917/.
“The video shows the sorrowful Pipili incident. The Morcha will show this video to people in all 147 Assembly constituencies though the Jabab Maguchhi Odisha vehicle,” said Morcha State president Pravati Parida at a Press meet here.
Alleging that police are being used by ruling party leaders and criminals, Parida said women are feeling insecure and are not getting justice in the State.
Among others, BJP vice-president Sukeshi Oram and secretaries Simantini Jena, Dr Lekhashree Samantsinghar, Sabita Nanda and Urmila Mohaptra, Morcha vice-president Kananbala Pattnaik, Niyati Giri and Smruti Patnaik, secretary Rashmirekha Das and treasurer Bijaylaxmi Mohapatra were present.
