Wishing all success for the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, a large number of well-wishers, party leaders and workers led by former Assembly Deputy Speaker Rama Chandra Panda offered ‘Deepa’ (holy lamp) at the Uttareswar Temple at Gosaninuagaon here on Thursday.
The Deepa Dana programme was coordinated by BJP Brahmapur town president Dr Bhavani Shankar Das as Modi filed his nomination for the Varanasi lok Sabha seat on Thursday.
Among others, BJP’s Brahmapur Assembly candidate Shiva Shankar Das, senior party leader Sisir Kumar Padhi, Panchanan Choudhury, Sunil Kumar Sahu, Gopinath Panda, Maheswar Sethi, Jagadananda Das, Pradip Mishra, Rabi Routray, BJP Mahila Morcha leader Iteeshree Panda, Sabita Nayak, Sanjukta Panigrahi. Pragyanparamita Padhi, Subhashree Panigrahi and T Suryaprabha offered lamp to the lord.
