Hundreds hold rally in Brahmapur
Hundreds of BJP Youth wing members led by district president Prabhat Kiran Sadangi took out a rally and staged a demonstration at the CHSE office at Kamapalli on Wednesday, protesting erratic evaluation of answer scripts.
The demonstrators held the Higher Education and CHSE authorities responsible for the gaffe and demanded resignation of Higher Education Minister Pradeep Panigrahy.
They submitted a memorandum for Governor SC Jamir through the CHSE secretary, where they demanded immediate action against the officials involved in the irregularities and resignation of the CHSE Chairman. They also demanded reevaluation of all the answer scripts without charging any fee on the examinees.
Meanwhile, senior BJP leader and former Assembly Deputy Speaker Rama Chandra Panda urged the Government to immediately provide relief to the meritorious students by reevaluating their answer scripts.
Among others, BJP district president Bijay Kumar Swain, district general secretary Gopinath Panda, general secretary Sunil Kumar Sahu, Town Youth president Sunil Choudhury, Rama Chnadra Pradhan, Sangram Padhi, Kalpana Mahankud, Saroj Patra, Manoj Kumar Padhi, Sabita Nayak and Santosh Subudhi participated.
