The BJP SC/ST Morcha State and national functionaries had a preparatory meeting here ahead of the two-day national meet of the Morcha on June 16 and 17.
It was presided over by Morcha president Rabi Narayan Nayak, while Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram attended as chief guest.
The Morcha’s meet to be held at KIIT campus will be attended by leaders from across the nation, including five Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of Jharkhand and Chhatisgarh, 12 Ministers from various States, 29 MPs, MlAs, Odisha Pravari Arun Singh and State party president KV Singh Deo.
Morcha national president Fagan Singh Kulaste would preside.
The meet will primarily focus on the problems of the SCs and STs and the Government’s standpoints.
The preparatory meet was attended by Prassan Mishra, Anata Nayak, Mohan Majhi, Sukeshi Oram and Sankar Oram, among others.
