A day after deserting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Puri leader Krushna Chandra Panda joined the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Monday.
BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik welcomed him into the party fold during a programme at the Naveen Niwas here.
Panda, designated by the BJP as its working committee member of Puri district, had on Sunday resigned from the BJP alleging ‘sale of party tickets’ for the upcoming elections in the State.
