Workers and supporters of the Biju Yuva Janata Dal (BYJD) and Biju Chhatra Janata Dal (BCJD) staged a cycle rally here on Sunday protesting the hike in petrol price.
led by BCJD Bhubaneswar district president Ranapratap Patra, they came in a procession from the BJD State party office to the Sishu Bhavan Square demanding a complete rollback of the decision.
BYJD and BCJD leaders said that petrol price has been increased seven times in three months to the detriments of the common people. The Central Government has failed to control the petrol prices, they added.
