The BJD team, which visited Chhattisgarh to conduct ground inspection of the projects being undertaken by the neighbouring State in the upper reaches of the Mahanadi, would submit its report to Chief Minister and party president Naveen Patnaik shortly.
According to sources, a meeting of the team, which includes 12 BJD members and three experts, would be held on Friday.
After returning from Chhattisgarh, the BJD team had alleged that the neighbouring State had not given all the information about the projects asked for by the team.
Besides, the team also expressed doubts about the facts given by Chhattisgarh officials on the projects being constructed on the Mahanadi.
On August 9, the team headed by party vice-president and MP Prasanna Acharya visited Chhattisgarh and had discussions with the concerned officials of the neighbouring State and locals about the projects. They also visited the sites of some ongoing projects.
