Union Minister Jual Oram on Tuesday alleged that the State Government is promoting the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) by spending crores of rupees in holding an inaugural ceremony of the Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup. Terming Sundargarh as a hockey home, Oram said the State government is yet to develop hostels located at different parts in the district. He thanked the Union Government and Hockey India for holding the HWC in Odisha. He hoped that India team would win the world cup and bring laurels to the country and Odisha as well.
