In a surprise move, not unusual for Biju Janata Dal supremo Naveen Patnaik,the candidate for the Rajnagar Assembly constituency in Kendrapada district was replaced on Wednesday. The party replaced its earlier-announced candidate and sitting MlA Alekh Jena with Dhruba Sahu. The change was apparently made in view of the strong opposition from party workers to Jena, whose effigy they had burnt on Tuesday.
