BJD behaving like Cong in late '90s: Utkal Bharat

PNS
The Utkal Bharat on Thursday slammed BJD workers for hurling eggs at the vehicle of Union Minister Jual Oram and said the act indicated that the party would not continue in power
anymore.
“BJD workers are behaving like mad people as they have already got hints that their party would not continue in power. They even don’t think of getting out of power after a long stay,” said Utkal Bharat president Kharavel Swain in a statement.
He said the Congress workers were behaving this way towards the latter part of nineties when it lost elections. The Congress is yet to return and is also not expected to come to power even the BJD losses coming elections. The CPI(M), which had lost to the Trinmool Congress in 2011, is also facing such a situation in West Bengal.
Swain wanted to know whether it is justified that Union Ministers would be subjected to stone attacks because Odia youths have not got jobs in the IOCl and Odisha not conferred with the special category State status. If the Centre has neglected Odisha, the BJD should go to the people and informed about it.
“The BJD is not owner of Odisha and people are not its prajas. No political party remains always in power or in opposition. People should drive out the most corrupt BJD and bring any other two parties as main competitors,” Swain urged people in
the statement.
