Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik applauded the efforts of the web channel ‘OdishalIVE’ while inaugurating the conclave. OdishalIVE created series of activities to commemorate the birth centenary of the legend. Patnaik inaugurated special paintings of veteran artist Baladev Maharatha on Biju Babu on the occasion. Similarly digital platform www.bijupatnaik.org, special souvenir calendar carrying rare and historical photographs of Biju Babu were also unveiled at the event.
OdishalIVE also created a postal Special Cover, approved by Indian Posts on Biju Babu.
Freedom fighter Bhabani Charan Pattnaik, political analyst Prof Surya Narayan Mishra, journalist Basanta Das, BJD leader Amar Prasad Satapathy, economist and writer Natabar Khuntia, industry expert Dr SK Tamotia, former chief secretary Sudhansu Bhusan Mishra and former chairperson Odisha State Women’s commission lopamudra Mohanty participated in a panel discussion.
