An important meeting of the Red Cross State Branch Protection Committee was held here on Friday with senior life member Dr Jagannath Mahapatra in chair.
The meeting, attended by many senior members, reviewed the Red Cross Odisha branch functioning of last 12 years and decided to activate the branch. It was also decided that an extended State-level meeting of members would be called after the corona pandemic period to finalise a detailed strategy.
The newsletter of the committee was released by MLA and ‘Sambad’ editor Soumya Ranjan Patnaik. Among other senior members, Dr Dwarika Nath Mohanty, Dr Seba Mohaptra, Durga Prasad Padhi and Nimai Charan Das participated. Convenor of the meeting Dillip Dashshrama proposed a vote of thanks.
