The agitation of the Bhuban Praja Sangharsha Samiti was postponed after a written assurance from R and B Section AE Niranjan Swain. The Samiti had threatened to hold dharana protesting neglect in repairing the NAC PWD roads in Bhuban.
Swain handed over the letter to Samiti convenor Debashisha Hota inpresence of Tehsildar Parikhita Sahoo and police officials.
Swain mentioned that the roads were temporarily repaired on the very same day, the Samiti had submitted a memorandum on July 26 and that the black topping will be very soon carried out.
